I went to Berlin with some friends this Easter holidays. Berlin is a very, very big city. It’s a plain area so there are lots of bicycles. Berlin is a modern city with lots of new buildings. I recommend you: the Sonny Center and the new Haupbanhof station.
Berlin is cosmopolitan, so there are people from the whole world, consequently, there are all kind of restaurants and food.
I was very impressed by the Checkpoint Charlie and the old wall which separated the country. It was a terrible experience. I can’t understand why “people” don’t learn by their errors and make the same errors throughout the times: The Germans destroyed the wall and try to forget the horror of the war, while Israel, Melilla and other countries build new ones.

Comments:
Excellent! Not a single mistake here!

Yes, I think Berlin is an interesting city. I was there a couple of years ago and I was also impressed by the two Berlin sides. Even though the city is united now, you can feel there was a real barrier, not only a physical but a psicological barrier.

The film I told you about in class "The life of others" shows this so clearly with that before and after...

Well done! It's so nice to travel!
